Directions

 

Riverton Church is located in the historic village of Riverton, near the fairgrounds, General Store, old Hitchcock factory and other Riverton landmarks. See below for driving directions.

 

 

From Torrington and points South: Take Route 8 to Winsted. When divided highway ends, make a right onto rte. 44 at the end of the exit ramp and then make a right onto Route 8 (Northwest community college will be on your right, the town green will be in front of you.) Proceed to route 20; make a right onto 20 and continue into Riverton. Make a left at Robertsville Road (The General Store will be in front of you and Rose's Kitchen will be on your left.) The church is the 3rd building on the left.

 

From New Hartford and points East: Take Route 44 West through New Hartford; make a right onto 181 (River Road.) Follow the River Road through Pleasant Valley. The road will come to a T-stop at Route 20 after several miles. Make a right onto Route 20 and continue into Riverton. Make a left at Robertsville Road (The General Store will be in front of you and Rose's Kitchen will be on your left.) The church is the 3rd building on the left.

 

From Norfolk and points West: Take Route 44 East to the center of Winsted. Make a left onto Route 8 at the Town Greeen (the Dairy Queen and CVS will be on your right; the town Green will be on your left as you make the turn.) Proceed to route 20; make a right onto 20 and continue into Riverton. Make a left at Robertsville Road (The General Store will be in front of you and Rose's Kitchen will be on your left.) The church is the 3rd building on the left
